Abstract
The 50 year-old patient, male, osserman II type myasthenia gravis with thymoma had received thymectomy in july, 1982. Double filtration plasma pheresis (DFPP) was carried out with KM-8100N (kuraray) using Plasmacure for the first filter and Evaflux for second. Five % albumine was used for substitution to avoid viral infection. After two times DFPP remarkable improvement of signs (blephaloptosis, diplopia, disterbance of occular movement), which was not took effect by steroid and anticholinesterase drugs, were obtained in a few days. Under the administration of steroid and 6MP his signs and AchR antibody titier have been in good condition.
