Abstract
This paper reviews our experience of 218 total knee replacements for deteriorated knees. A score of 85 to 100 points represents an excellent results; 70-84, a good result; 60 to 69, fair; and less than 60, poor. Overall, 78% were excellent or good for nonhinge group compared to 36% for hinge group, and also 78% were excellent or good for OA group compared to 64% for RA group. The higher complication rate has been detected in hinge group or RA group. The rate of revision was 7.3% in this series.
