Abstract
Clinical results of pulsatile assist device (PAD), which was developted by Bregman in 1976, had been already reported by us. In our early experiences PAD was activated by the system 8O.
It became clear that system 8O had too high vacum pressure for PAD, and did not produce ideal flow wave. So our new activating Systems (Model-KI, Model-KF) were developted, which were able to control positive pressure interval and drive pressure as well as vacum pressure. In recent clinical experiences of this System more reliable and ideal phyological flow wave was obtained, and PAD could be done even in small child safely.
