A H2O2 sensing-pump was constructed with a manometer and a catalase immobilized membrane. A vaporization of oxygen at the enzyme membrane was induced by the catalytic reaction with H2O2 solution, thus resulting in a pumping pressure in the manometer. The characteristics of the pumping actuator (i.e. response curve, pumping pressure) were dependent on the concentration of H2O2.
