Abstract
Studies were undertaken to clarify : (i) the ecological effects on plant growth and seed development of soybeans under the three controlled conditions -long-day, short-day and high-temperature treatments- during eight or nine successive generations, (ii) the after-effects in the following generations resulting from the specific treatments. From this test it was found, that after-effects may be left in several characters, at least in the succeeding three grenerations.
