Abstract
In relation to the open field cultivation of papaya plants in warm region of Japan, some observations were made generally on the fruit setting and sexuality, viz., fruit setting on wintered shoots, fruit size and shape due to amount of pollen, parthenogenetic fruits, sex ratio and intersexual flowers.
