l) Four varieties of tobacco plants, "Nambu" (early flowering type), "Slate s Gold Dollar" (rather early), "Brrght Yellow" (medrum) and "T.1.-448A"(late) were compared in the grovJtll and development under combined conditions of ternperature and day-length. 2) Four plots were prepared i.
