We developed a real-time 3D visualization application that can display water levels in rural canals and presumed inundation depth in farmland. The application also can display the results of real-time hydraulic analysis of one-dimensional Saint-Venant Equations. Using a 3D version of GIS software as a viewer, the application can be easily viewed and operated via general web browser. Most land features, such as farmland, canals and roads are reproduced in 3D models, and the water levels of canals and inundation depth during flooding events are also reproduced in 3D models. The application was applied to low-lying reclamation areas in Kawasoe Town, Saga City, and were able to reproduce the inundation depth caused by Typhoon 202410 on August 29.
