This paper reports on efforts to adjust alignment irregularity that occurs repeatedly at No. 21 turnout in Shinano-Tokiwa Station on the Oito Line. Alignment irregularity was adjusted with absolute reference using switching multiple titamper. We hypothesised that cause of recurrence was influence of axial force received from rail connected to turnout. Therefore, we attempted to prevent recurrence by adjustment of joint gaps. As a result, Construcion effects are maintained for 4 months or more. We introduced a case in which alignment irregularity was resolved by investigating the cause from multiple angles.
