In the previous paper, the plastic deformations of cantilever beams are discussed under the assumption of “plastic-rigid” body, and the characteristics of unsymmetrical deformations are obtained.
Here the plastic deformations of the beams with one end built-in and the other end simply supported under the blast type load which is uniformly distributed or concentrated are analysed theoretically. As a result of analysis, it is made obvious that the deformations are divided into two classes for the distributed load and into five classes for the concentrated load, and the permanent deflections of each class are obtained.
