Abstract
In this paper, we propose a extensive choice model for mixed-mode travel which includes railway line, station and its connected mode choice, in order to make possible us to evaluate intermodal transportation strategies combining public transportation with private one. Assuming the condition where is a good choice of railway lines, stations jointed, and its access and egress modes, we give attention to generating a choice set of inclusive railway routes and labeling each one efficiently, and we suppose a common structure between access and egress mode choice behavior. The result obtained by empirical study shows that the nested logit model of mixed-mode choice is statistically significant for any traveler with various kinds of trip purpose.
