Abstract
Recently, the vulnerability of the urban area on a large scale inundation disaster and the countermeasures are discussed in many time. But the evaluation on the inundation of the underground space is still insufficient. In this study, the inundation situation due to tsunami in Nagoya with the highly developed underground space such as underground shopping center and subway were examined. Firstly, the analysis model for the tsunami and the inundation was developed in consideration of nesting model. The validity of this analysis model was shown from the comparison by using of the maximum water level and distribution of the maximum inundation water depth due to the tsunami presented by the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan and the Aichi Prefecture, respectively. Moreover, from analysis results, it was shown that large inundation occurs in the case without dike. Especially, it was shown the risk that a large amount of water flows into the Meiko subway line.
