In order to try to improve local tourism as one of regional economic growth policy, It is effective to improve the traffic condition from metropolitan area to local region or among regional sightseeing area by road network development. On the other hands, most tourism statistics have focused on the survey of national or prefectural trend in Japan. Although tourism industry is assumed one of major industries in most municipalities, this statistical limitation makes difficult to make a strategic plan for local tourism growth based on the quantitative analysis.
