Abstract
In recent years, central area's decline in local city are in question. For activation of those area, improvement of its attractiveness is needed. Also providing comfortable resting space for visitor is important so that they could rest, refresh and stroll through there again. The purpose of the present paper is to make clear the behavior of down town visitors, such as resting, having some food or drink, aim of visiting down town, and the relationship between those behavior and the cognition of many types of resting space, such as preference, feeling of freedom and potential of communicating others.
