Abstract
Many bicycle lanes are now constructing in Japan, but bicycle accident analyses concerning keeping lane of bicycle in whole local area have not been carried out. So all bicycle accidents occurred at Tokatsu District in Chiba Pref. were extracted, and accident spots were plotted on digital map to show vehicle travel direction of bicycle accidents. To utilize these indexes, vehicle turning direction and accident type, bicycle keeping lanes on accidents were estimated. These bicycle accidents data were analyzed and accidents of keeping right bicycle with car tended to occur more than ones of keeping left bicycle with car. But bicycle accidents on non-intersection were extracted and analyzed, accidents of keeping left bicycle with straight through car tended to occur more on non-intersection. So it was indicated that countermeasure for these bicycle accidents are needed.
