Abstract
Eco-driving is well known as an environmental program against the emission of CO2 in the field of automobile. As the relation between kinematics and energy consumption of gasoline-powered automobile has been discussed not only theoretically but also demonstrably, it has not been discussed much about that of electric vehicle which is becoming more and more popular recently. One reason why is that there is a little discussion about regeneration energy that is specific for electric vehicle.
In this paper, we first tested the electric vehicle on chassis dynamometer to calculate the driving force thoroughly with kinematic any state, and organized the results. Then, we considered the method of eco-driving by estimating energy consumption of electric vehicle that assumes the short trip of various conditions in urban areas.
