Abstract
Linear Chuo Shinkansen connects the three major metropolitan areas of Japan and is expected to bring great economic effect to Japan as a whole. Even at the new station set up in each prefecture, in order to maximize its economic effect, it is required to increase accessibility to the station from each area. In this research, we measure what kind of economic effect is given to the community by enhancing accessibility.
In this research, based on the relationship between the current accessibility and the economic situation, after estimating the national economic effect due to the opening of Linear, estimated the economic effect the case that urban transportation when connecting Linear Yamanashi station and the center of Kofu. As a result, there was a big difference between the economic situation before Linear opening and the economic situation after Linear opening. Furthermore we can expect further economic effects by improving urban transportation and clarified the importance of improving urban transportation of Yamanashi Prefecture.
