As part of the author’s research main agenda how to expand overseas construction business by use of “High Quality Infrastructure Export Initiative” to encourage Japanese companies which are related to construction and plant machinery industries, this paper indicates the process of local staff recruitment method during the author engaged as a director general of a Japanese construction company from February 2019 to December 2021established in Republic of Kyrgyzstan. This paper also analyzes issues arisen through these activities and presents solutions to those issues.
This paper specifically indicates the process of establishment of a Japanese affiliated company in Republic of Kyrgyzstan in December 2017 and the following human resources management data such as recruitment process of employees including selection criteria for recruitment. Using these studies, beneficial methods of recruitment for local employees of Japanese overseas subsidiaries are presented in this paper.
