Abstract
It is predicted that the tsunami which is considerably huger than conventional assumption after the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake. Especially, higher tsunami height is predicted by the Nankai earthquake, and the tsunami was associated with a high probability of Nankai earthquake.
As refuge for the tsunamis in the low land, tsunami refuge tower was constructed the strong concrete building used in the emergency as a refuge buildings. There is not the provision when the tsunami was attacked over the buildings as it is now. Therefore, even if able to arrive at a tsunami refuge tower and the buildings, we may suffer from tsunami damage. From these reason, the hybrid refuge technique that was used together with the floating type tsunami evacuation shelter in addition to conventional high place refuge.
In this study, tsunami hybrid refuge technique was investigated to use floating type tsunami evacuation shelter and Tsunami evacuation tower and buildings from hydraulic experiments.
Therefore, it was able to divide the behavior of the shelter into three types. There were the most cases which a shelter moved with a wave. In addition, the floating type tsunami evacuation shelter was able to endure impulse force calculated from flow velocity and free-fall.
