Abstract

CaO-improved soil intended to make effective use of soft clay has been developed and its application in actual construction promoted. However, there have been few studies on environmental effects under early construction, immediately after mixing to construction. There is no appropriate evaluation method. In this study, we devised a new dynamic elution test using a small water tank and a new dynamic cylinder flow test introducing drop conditions.

It was found that the time-dependent turbidity-pH change shows a closed curve and a return trend to the initial stage where erosion occurs. Since the flow values changing falling height showed linear changes in both the clay and CaO-improved soil, the ratio of the static flow values and the ratio of the dynamic variation rate of flow values were proposed.
