Abstract
The state of formulation of municipal business continuity plan is improving according to government guidelines. However, training and review based on business continuity plan are not sufficient. We created self-check sheets for municipal officials to check their own business continuity plans, extract issues, and it easy to review. Begining in 2015, municipality business continuity plan workshop utilizing this self-check sheet is held for municipalities in Tokushima prefecture. From the experience of the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes, it is pointed out the need to clarify the both systems for support and for receiving support in the business continuity plan. Therefore, we present a framework of a new self-check sheet considering both systems, and discuss future issues.
