VULNERABILITY IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS RELATED TO NATIONAL RESILIENCE AND RESULTS OF RESIDENTS’ AWARENESS SURVEYS

Abstract

 Eight years have passed since the efforts to strengthen the national land began. National resilience is indispensable to provide an environment where residents can live with peace of mind in the face of large-scale natural disasters that occur frequently these days. In this study, in order to investigate the degree of awareness and understanding of the residents regarding the national resilience policy, the following items are confirmed by questionnaire. 1) Degree of recognition of terms related to national resilience, 2) Scenarios for national resilience measures, 3) Requests for national resilience. Then, the results of the awareness survey and its consideration are shown for the purpose of using it as basic data for connecting to measures to improve vulnerabilities.
