Abstract
To construct the underpass structure across the railroads or roads, various non-open-cut methods which influences at least to the traffic on the ground has been invented and used. And there is a method to make box-culverts by excavating and putting the rectangular steel elements which have joints. This method is to excavate and put the elements in a shallow position under the railroads or roads while trains are in service or roads are not closed. Therefore, it is required to minimize the influence on the ground.
In this report, we suppose the new element excavation method by developing the practical one. We are aiming to excavate and put elements more accurate, and to make the influences on the ground surface less. Further, we confirmed this new method's utility by conducting the full-scale experiments.
