Abstract
In this report, we focus on the case of an Olympic medalist
in women's weightlifting competition, and report on the
circumstances that led to her winning an Olympic medal in terms
of her physical, technique, performance, mindset, and relationship
with her coach. The subjects were athletes who won medals at the
Rio de Janeiro Games and her coach. The analysis used a semistructured
interview and a trajectory equifinality model. As a
result, top athletes who have reached their peak need guidance that
emphasizes the qualitative aspects of rest and training. In addition,
it was suggested that having psychological elements such as " To
make up one's mind ", "fighting spirit " and "confidence " may be
necessary to win a medal at the Olympics.
