The creep property ofPb-Al3O3 composites, which were containing 3.2N7.4 vol% of 1μm-Al3O3 and fabricated by the mechanical alloying process, was estimated by the activation energy for creep corrected with the temperature dependence of Young's modulus. The corrected activation energy for creep increases with the increasing Al3O3 volume fraction. The contribution of Al3O3 to creep resistance is evaluated up to elevated temperature quantitatively.
