Activities to proceed digital archiving in Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

Abstract

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd has started digital archiving activities as counter measure of assets management problem and less assets utilization among head office and subsidiaries. They proceeded standardization of assets management and new internal rule was set. They also cultivated the rule and instructed how to manage assets. Digitalization of historical assets were proceeded and archived to their database system. The database system was also improved to realize worldwide accessibility and usability, it helps to progress their productivity and their job efficiency.
