Social media (hereafter referred to as SNS) such as X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, as well as video streaming platforms, have become the main infrastructure for information distribution, and everyone has become a sender. We are surrounded by a space where a huge amount of information flows back and forth. Much of this information, however, is unclear as to the line between fact and falsehood. In addition to the instantaneous dissemination power of SNS, platform algorithms that analyze the attributes and psychology of recipients allow users to accept information and, without careful consideration, share and spread it to others (without even knowing who they are). In light of this information confusion, The author would like to consider the role and significance of broadcast archives as a "reference point for information."
