Applying Methods of Observed SS-Discharge Relationship Expression to Neighbor River-Basin Areas

Abstract

Observed relationship between SS and power of discharge rate is usually used for the inflow conditions of turbid water simulation in a reservoir. The observation is sometimes executed at the different site from the required point, which can occur by the change of the site after the observation etc. There, however, is no knowledge for the judgment of the application of observed data or methods for the application. This report shows the conditions for the application of observed data and methods for application at that case, through analysis and examination of the change of coefficients by the confluence of flows.
