Abstract

Flood Mitigation dam is a type of dam that stores only during floods. It is generally considered advantageous to construct a dam in a V-shaped valley. In addition, Flood Mitigation dam install spillways near the riverbed, so spillways are close to each other in tight spaces. Therefore, Flood Mitigation dam, in addition to the usual suppression of mass concrete temperature cracks, it was important to suppress cracks due to the concentration of spillways. This report is described for cracking measures and effect focusing on the spillway.
