It’ s significant for students in faculty of technology to experience whole process of development consisting planning, product designing, prototyping, testing, implementing and final testing. But in recent years, there are non-negligible disparities of ability and skill among students, and these disparities make the class training difficult at universities. There is growing emphasis on project based learning (PBL) for addressing the above difficulties. It is necessary for students who would partake in PBL to have the basic abilities of planning, exercising, explaining the result. We implement a PBL oriented instruction (POI) in our teaching activity for product development. In this paper, we report our working results of POI concentrating on how draw out creativity and spontaneous attitude from students.
