Various activities in these several years to develop human resource for nuclear energy industry in the Kumamoto National College of Technology (KNCT) are described. The activities include : lectures, experiments and lecture meetings relating to radiation and nuclear energy, internship, visits to nuclear power plants, and so on. Students have acquired profound knowledge on radiation and nuclear power through these activities. Questionnaire surveys about the necessity of nuclear power plants have been performed and a brief analysis is given. The operation of all nuclear power plants have been stopped after the Fukushima Nuclear Accidents in 2011. Nevertheless, it would be important to continuously develop human resource for the technology transfer in the fields of nuclear energy in Japan, although the restart of nuclear power plants is still unclear. Activities including improvement of present activities and introductions of new and more attractive contents will be desired in KNCT.
