Abstract
Design thinking is an innovative and user-centered approach to solving business challenges, and content that has been widely practiced in continuing education has been adapted for a university course. The 14-session course module covered theoretical lessons, proactive workshops, applied practice, and reflection. Emphasizing practical application, the course featured interactive workshops, flipped learning with pre-class videos, and real-time interactions using Slido. The aim of the course is to deeply understand the global and Japanese significance of design thinking, learn the fundamental concepts and processes necessary for its application in the digital field, and develop practical skills for real-world application. Evaluations were based on reports, and digital tools such as manaba, Vimeo, Slido, and MS Forms were utilized.
