Abstract
This study enhances our institution’ s educational approach to electronically controlled automatic transmission (AT) by introducing vehicles with electrical and mechanical faults. Using a chassis dynamometer and diagnostic tools, students safely conduct driving experiments on normal and faulty vehicles. By monitoring data and control signals, they analyze failure phenomena, including fail-safe control, to deepen their understanding. This training improves their ability to diagnose and handle complex AT failures in real-world settings.
