Abstract
The construction of an educational system that continuously produces human resources capable of playing a central role in the nuclear energy field requires not only understanding key physics related to nuclear engineering, but also knowledge in various fields including nuclear safety, and regulation. It is crucial to foster individuals who can apply interdisciplinary knowledge from multiple fields with a broad perspective. The Nuclear Regulatory Personnel Development Program at the Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, aims to cultivate the next generation of experts in the nuclear field by conveying both the engineering and administrative aspects of nuclear regulation. This research reports on the efforts and innovations involved in creating the interdisciplinary courses.
