Teaching of Laboratory Courses for the Department of Electronics and Control Engineering of the College of Technology

Abstract

This report presents the outline of an "Integrated Laboratory Course" targeted for fourth-year students at the Department of Electronics and Control Engineering, Nagano National College of Technology. The theme of this course is the "Design and Development of the Automated Guided Vehicle" and is based on the following three points: (1) the production of microcomputer control circuits, (2) the design and manufacturing of vehicle mechanisms, and (3) the design and development of control software. This course aims at raising the overall level of practical abilities required of system engineers.
