In the present day, technological advance in data communication has brought about its own technological black-box-izing. Educational importance of introductory teaching materials are now greatly increased for engineering students. Demodulator, terminal node controller and software for receiving/decoding telemetry from amateur radio satellites are developed for teaching technological fundamentals of the synchronized and asynchronized wireless data transfer. Details of the developed materials are described in this report. An attractive student experiment has been undertaken by using these materials, but its educational evaluation remains as a future subject.
