Abstract
This study aimed to clarify the changes in life skills in life skills arising from reflection based on peer discussions within university physical education class. The participants were thirty male and female university students enrolled in a practical PE course. In the first-class session, participants completed a questionnaire survey (Pre). From the second to the fifteenth sessions, the classes consisted of practical PE activities. In the fifteenth session, the same questionnaire survey was administered again (Post), and the results were compared with those of the Pre survey. In the subscale of interpersonal skills, the item of leadership exhibited significantly higher scores at Post than Pre (p < 0.05). This suggests that the reflective discussions strengthened students’ awareness of acting as members of a group. The results of this study suggest reflective discussion may improve leadership skill.
