Objective : We analyzed the treatment results of transurethral lithotripsy (TUL) using LithoVue at Saiseikai Izuo Hospital as well as its effectiveness and safety.
Methods : In total, 74 patients who underwent TUL using LithoVue between August 2018 and February 2021 were enrolled. We investigated patients’ demographics and operative outcomes.
Results : Mean age was 69.1 (±16.2), mean stone size was 10.3 mm, and mean operative time was 86.5±45.1 min. Complications were observed in 3 cases (4.2％), 1 case was ureteral injury and 2 cases were fever.
Conclusion : This study shows that TUL using LithoVue is effective and safe.
