Abstract

To mitigate the impact of solar radiation on the power grid, it is necessary to improve the phenomenon of large deviations in solar radiation forecasts for a day-ahead and two days-ahead. Therefore, we are developing numerical weather prediction (NWP) models, integrations of NWP model of multiple organizations, and reliability prediction. This paper provides an overview of this research and examples of trial results related to the technological development of weather models.
