抄録

To provide highly accurate short-term forecasting, a method using satellite image prediction model and weather multi-sensor with sky-image camera has been developed by CRIEPI and SJC. This method classifies cloud conditions into three types, fine, cloud and thick cloud, analyzed from sky-images, and the satellite image prediction model forecasts solar irradiance based on cloud conditions.

This method was applied and evaluated using the solar irradiance observational site at the CRIEPI Akagi Testing Center (Gunma Prefecture, Japan). It was shown that this method has a potential of high accuracies.
