Silver nanowires (Ag NWs) have high transparency, electrical conductivity, and excellent flexibility, and can be deposited by wet processes. Therefore, silver nanowires are expected to replace dry-process metal electrodes as the top electrode of semitransparent organic photovoltaics. In this study, we fabricated post processing free Ag NWs electrodes with a high aspect ratio of 2820 and obtained excellent optical and electrical properties. By using this post processing free silver nanowire electrode as the top electrode of semitransparent organic photovoltaics, good power conversion efficiency and high average visible transmittance were obtained.
