39　Combined Application of Self-Wheeling and Demand Response Using Wireless Communication Base Stations Equipped with PV and Storage Batteries

Abstract

In recent years, green base stations with storage batteries and photovoltaic (PV) power generation have been considered to improve environmental friendliness and disaster resistance in the operation of wireless communication base stations. As a measure to improve the economic efficiency of these green base stations, it is considered effective to participate in the DR (Demand Response) market and to provide electricity to other green base stations through self-wheeling by utilizing PV power. This paper presents a fundamental study of energy management methods aimed at reducing failures when participating in DR while conducting self-wheeling.
