53　Analysis of degradation trends and cleaning effects of PV system using long-term analysis with the SV Method

Abstract

In this study, the degradation trends and cleaning effects of photovoltaic (PV) systems were analyzed using the advanced PV system analysis method (SV method). The SV method separates and quantifies 11 types of loss factors during power generation based on system information and one-minute measurement data. This study focused on losses due to degradation and soiling, and analyzed data over a period of more than 10 years to understand the degradation trends. Additionally, it was found that cleaning restored losses due to degradation and soiling by approximately 1-5%, demonstrating the effectiveness of cleaning.
