Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites have garnered significant attention for their outstanding optoelectronic properties. Over the past decade, the efficiency of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has surged from 3.8 % to 25.08 % [1,2], positioning them as a leading candidate for next-generation photovoltaic technology. In recent years, adding additives has been widely studied for preparing large-scale perovskite films from precursor solutions [3]. In this study, the perovskite precursor solution with the addition of a graphene-based additive was spin-coated in ambient air to produce high-quality methyl ammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) films. Compared to films without additives, the deposited MAPbI3 films exhibited larger grain sizes and improved (110) crystal orientation. The planar PSC devices fabricated using an additive achieved a maximum efficiency of 13.47 %, with an average efficiency higher than that of devices without additives, around 8 %.
