Abstract
In evaluating the stomach by the fluoroscopic technique, we believe that there are three main points to consider: the position, the ranges of the images, and the use of enhanced effects. The position is evaluated by using the basic points of each x-rayed position. The ranges of the images are determined by considering at what range the image must be taken and by taking into account the invisible parts of the stomach and duodenum. The enhanced effects are involved in viewing the folds and edges of the images as well as the gastric mucosa. It is important to evaluate the radiographic image of the stomach from the standpoint of the X-ray devices and the medicine being taken at or around that time. Therefore, in order to improve the overall quality of the procedure for our patients, there needs to be a standardized approach to the implementation of the fluoroscopic technique.
