Abstract
The 3DCG is the technology which has improved to making photo realistic images. Meanwhile, toon shading is a technique in 3DCG that is used for the production work of the cel-touch 2D animation. The purpose of the toon shading, it has been achieved by discarding for generating photorealistic images. The toon shading sometimes makes the wrong image by the difference of the 3DCG images and the 2DCG images. The one of example on the error occurs to with the light source in the condition of the shade and the shadow on the animation character. The cel animation images in order to consider the production efficiency, shadow is adapted an always simple shape. For example, the shadow produced by the toon shading, does not be made a simple shapes shadows when the shape of the model is complex. The purpose of this paper is how to set a light source for the character such as cel animation when animator draw characters by toon shading. Perform lighting for shooting live-action characters in the same way, tried to cel animation about how much closer the shadows.
