Abstract
This paper provides a method for well-composed perspective drawing of the hand-drawn perspective kit, which allows users to draw a 2-point perspective drawing of a typical Japanese house. The Author defines a model of typical Japanese two-story house with a gabled roof and calculates the viewpoint position, from which we can see the roof surface, gable-end wall and side wall (ridge direction wall) of the house. In addition, he calculates the angle of the arrangement of house which obtains the maximum size of perspective within the limits of normal wide-angle distortion of perspective. The hand-drawn perspective kit is designed by applying these calculated results. Many beginners of the perspective drawing can obtain a well-composed perspective drawing by using this kit.
