Abstract
When a pair of plan and elevation of a solid figure is given, we can obtain its perspective drawing by properly arranging those figures or those similar figures on a plane and the parallel-lines' intersection ( what we call Einschneideverfahren ) in two proper directions passing through corresponding points on those figures and the intersection of pencil of lines radially emitted from two proper points on a plane ( what we call projective mapping ) . The paper consists of the following.
1. theory of this method of constructing perspective drawing
2. arrangement of a pair of plan and elevation of a solid figure on a plane to obtain its perspective drawing
3. some methods of affine transformation
4. applied construction examples of this method
5. comparison with usual method
