Abstract
In the field of classificatory botany, there has been a case that classification of pine trees has been carried out by number of pine needles.
Scales of a pine cone, on the other hand, have a spiral arrangement.
This paper deals with spiral arrangement for the scales of the pine cone of the pine tree.It has been found that there are three kinds of the spiral arrangement for the scales.As a result, the spiral arrangement for them is also applicable to classification of the pine trees as well as number of the pine needle.
