Abstract
This paper is intended as a consideration of the drawing method and the graphic presentation on “Bellicorum instrumentorum liber” (1418-ca. 1420) of artist-engineer's Giovanni Fontana in Early Renaissance Padua. I consider the subject under the following heads : (1) the category of the graphic presentation on “Bellicorum instrumentorum liber”, (2) the analysis of the 4 figures based on Prot-perspective projection. These analysis lead to the conclusion that Fontana used the seven type of graphic presentation, a) the figure of perspective-style, b) the figure of inversed perspective-style, c) the figure of cavalier-style, d) the figure of military-style, e) the figure of isometric-style, f) the figure of combination-style, g) the figure of two dimension-style. And Fontana used the Prot-perspective projection based on the compound eyes system of Witelo or Alhazen.
